Any one local or willing to make the drive to Kendallville. We are having a truck show for the boys shelter her in Kendallville on Saturday the 29th. from 12 till 4 pm. I know it is very short notice but it almost got canceled because we were trying to take the kids for rides and insurance became an issue but now we are just putting on a show. Take 69 to exit 134 go east threw Corunna on the S curves take county line RD. North. then about 100 feet or so you turn right down the drive to the boys home.

no cost. It is free. There is no judging. No awards beyond making some kids who have had a rough life smile.

Update....Because the boys are hyped about it. The admin decided that any one that has valid insurance on there Jeep/truck can give rides if they want. (make sure to bring it with you they will want a copy) :elephant:

hey um if ya dont mind, leave the news out if it. we dont want it. every so often we do something for ppl that need help. we dont want everybody out there calling who wants help cause they heard we did something for someone else. if we go that route we will have to get disclaimers and releases and paperwork and guide lines and member fees. just dont want all that. we just want to be a free to fellow jeepers that by chance just lend a hand when we can.

hope you understand that side of it. :eyebrows:

eh dont think of it as a "my bad" kinda thing by any means. 90%of the time its all good. last yr for christmas, we collected some money and bought a little boy and girl a new power wheels jeep that the family couldnt. we talked about the media then ,and well of course , you werent around then, so therefore you wouldnt know where we were coming from. it is a good idea most of the time, just not for us tho. :tu2:

hey dan, this a rain or shine event?

PM me your number please. had it b4 but lost it i guess.

A big thanks to every one that came. The boys and staff and people from the other group homes all had a blast. I am sure that these kind of events make a wold of difference to them. I know the two boys that are at the home that were there last time have done a 180 turn for the better since the first event.

Thank all of you who were able to show up today. All our clients had a GREAT time taking ride and seeing the the vehicles. Even both of my supervisors took a ride and came back with the same look on their faces as the clients!!!!! To get the final yes from admin and have as many people there as showed up today is so damn cool. I just can not express my thanks enough!!!!!!!
