What: ODaniels annual Jeep Jam
When: October 9th 2010
Time: 7-8 check in for the Poker Run

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now I just talked to Craig and we will be having a meeting( I am on the Jeep Jam committee)/ to organize events round up volunteers for going out and cutting trails again, the voulteers will be thanked by having a party(which will also be coming up in the next month for the 2009 volunteers). This year we are expecting a huge turn around for 2010. When I find out the time and date of the meeting I will post it up so we can all be apart of this Jeep Jam/ Any question PM me

You say the tow rig & trailer has to be parked out back but can the non-street legal Jeeps be trailered to the off-road trail locations even if towed by a Chevy?

youll probably have to get with Craig at ODZ about that. From what i remember last year, there probably wasnt a whole lotta room for a tow rig/trailer at at least the first place we went

Jeep Jam is exactly 1 month away!

All hands on deck; if you are not involved you are missing out, this is a great thing O’Daniel does for the community. With Jeep Jam alone we are the #1 contributor to the Disabled American Veterans of Indiana, that’s definitely something to be proud of.

How you can help;

1. Raising money, very easy to do, I’ve only had 1 business/individual say no to me all the years I’ve been doing this (Gordman’s) We have made it even easier this year with forms that explain exactly what we are doing and how to donate. We have forms here for the asking.
2. Volunteer for several different things;
1. This weekend at our land in S. Whitley Saturday/Sunday starting at 8 both days building trails
2. October 2nd and 3rd at our land in S Whitley building trails starting at 8 also
3. To help behind the scenes right now, we need help with several things that are easy, just time consuming
4. October 8th with getting everything cleaned up and prepared for the big show
5. The day of Jeep Jam, we can’t get enough volunteers to help with everything we have going on including giving blood!

3. Tell everyone you know to come, hang up posters everywhere you can, put flyers on Jeeps, send this email to everyone in you computer, post on Facebook, become a fan of Jeep Jam on Face Book.com/odzjeepjam

Don’t set on the side lines, get involved and make something happen. It’s the vey least we can do for our Veterans who obviously have and continue to do so much for us.

Does Craig have a digital copy of them (doc or pdf)? If so, I'll print some off and hang a bunch up all over work.

The Jeeps must have recovery points on them if the owners want to play in the Kessie Jeep farm(via Tom Kessie) that is some type of hooks, or rear reese hitch so when"WHEN" you get stuck one of the recovery guys can get you out saftely, because we all want to have fun, you can still drive out their some of us will give rides through the trails if you dont have recovery points, because its alll about the Jeep experience

Hey Alpine good morning. just wanted to drop you a line about the Jeep Jam. I have put a mesage up on Michiana Jeep clubs board about this event. As of right meow we have almost 10 guys and gails signed up for a road trip across the state to this. I am hoping for more to sign up before the event. Dave S/ dragordie :eyebrows:

dave, as crazy as this sounds, make sure they are jeeps. if they are not they will not be able to partake in the events. there were some people that showed up last year from up around that way that were told they could not be out front on the lot during the " jeep show" part at the dealership and those people seemed to get a little upset they couldnt have there samis and blazers in the jeep show.

you might want to check with a guy that's been supplying over on a KJ site. He has a facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Automotive-Parts-Unlimited-LLC/120413477999893

... and he said he has a kit for the JK for $126.44 + UPS shipping.

Just saw your dilemma and trying to help..

Thanks. I am planing on getting it fixed after Jeep Jam and currently planing on wheeling any way. I looked at the gears and there does not appear to be any ware on them from this so I figure why not.

I think there might be a little confusion, there is wheeling in the morning but the actual Jeep Jam party starts at 4pm til 730 at Odaniel. Its basically a big jeep car show. You don't need tow points to attend the actual event and I believe that the car show itself is free and theres some other things that you can pay for (silent auction being one).

Don't stay at home because you dont think your stuff is good enough to wheel...i'm sure its still purdy enough to show...

:tu2: He is write my wife likes the later part better and we all hang out and have fun at the jam at the dealer and look at others rigs free and fun and no tow points required.

In fact you should invite people who don't have a Jeep to the jam at 4 so that we can be a bad influence on them...lol :driving:

Even though I was unable to attend I would like to tip my hat off to all those who was working this Jeep Jam. I am not a spokesman for Michiana Jeep Club but those of us that was able to attend I am passing on a link to our website so they can personally thank everyone.

You guys definitely outdid yourselves doing the trails up for the Poker Run. My son and I had a blast! For anybody that didn't go - you missed out.

I can't remember who I talked with out at The Jeep Farm, but they were saying that your group started a Wounded Warrior Freedom Ride this year. I know they said it is around 9/11 but if you can remember to post up next year for it I know that I will try to make it up there for it

eh we tried. seems all your guys stated how small the land was.the ppl that own the land were nice enough to donate their land for the day. it was twice the size from last yrs event and also as they stated, with around 300 jeeps id say we did pretty darn good. it was a super dry day out but i think all in all, most eveyone had fun and followed the rules that were put out....sorry if anyone was ...disappointed.

I thought it was great for what they have. It's not supposed to be the Badlands or Moab. It was a blast for a GREAT cause. The dry conditions only made for gritty teeth!! Had a blast and can't wait for next year. THANK YOU Kessie Family and O'DZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was Great. THANK YOU Kessie Family, all the volunteers, and O'DZ! I know it was dry but this was about getting people to support disabled vets and have a little fun on the side. I would have donated my 25 even if I could not have gone. I was able to go, and was able to bring several newbies with me and we all had a great time!!! THANKS ALL!!!
