After my first trip to the badlands and drivin in the creek, and worring about submerged rocks and hitting my front diff, I decided to look into front diff armor to help out a little bit. Any thoughts on what I should look at? All new full cover or something I can put over the stock cover?

i would recommend a full cover replacement, such as rockcrusher, or a warn, like I have. I got it for 35 shipped from jeepsunlimited.

I highly recommend the great lakes offroad one. Great diff cover and a great guy. Local too.

i guess it just depends on how much you want to spend, for me, the price was right and it offers the protection i want, i dont think i'll be bashing the front diff on enough stuff to warrant spending the extra money on a full cover. BTW JCWhitney has the rugged ridge diff skid (exactly the same as the warn one I have) on sale for $47

I don't think I'll be bashin it into rocks either, I want it for that "just in case." I'll have to do some lookin around and decide what I want.
