Sooooooo.... I got together with Dick to tune our CB setups today. Tried both of the SWR meters that he had hoping that one of the two would work. No luck with either of them so we decided to run out to radio shack and buy one. The meter was NOT CHEAP but after reading the directions about 10 times it worked great.

So here is a proposition. If I were to keep the meter, would anyone be willing to pay a $5 charge to use it for their CB setup? Tuning the antenna only took a few minutes but you NEED one of these meters to properly set up your antenna. If no one is interested I may just return it and call it good. I know there has been more than one of us jeepers that have needed our antenna tuned and think it would be a good tool to keep around. If I do keep it I would drop the fee once the meter is paid off and would be more than willing to let people use it whenever.

Let me know.
Mike

I need to tune my CB and don't have a meter. I would pay you $4.99 :tu2: for a tune. It would be great to use it and since you already know how to tune it that's even better. Let me know the plan. I am in. I live in northern Ft. Wayne.

You heard right. I didn't know you wanted to see. I will post some when I get home. It is slowly growing to become a man.
