Explains it all. Having the new battery die on me every once and a while. Seems to be holding a charge for the time being but I am not convinced it is fixed. I put a "new" or spare alternator on it to see if it was the issue but it seems to still have the same proble,. I need to check the grounds and double check that they are clean and are making good contact but with the car running I only get 12V on the volt meter. When I turn the wipers, blower and headlights on I get around 9-10 volts on the internal VM. Anyone know how to check the charging system on the jeep? I already had the alternator checked some time ago and they said it was fine. I installed a new starter solenoid to eliminate any issues there and all the lights, turn signals and ect. work. Is there any way to check the voltage coming off the alternator or being produced in the charging system while the jeep is running?
