I'd suggest anyone here with half a brain or better never try this; its completely irresponsable and unsafe!
I would also suggest that you contact these people and tell them just how stupid and unsafe it is. Have has rigged together crap like that is what gets people seriously injured or killed, and to think, this website contends to be an offroad magazine?

The last paragraph states that your rig should be equipped with the proper tow points, but this is only for last resort use. I do agree that it is a very STUPID idea.

i have had a couple rigs without tow points but... i made sure i carried enough stuff to "make it work" chokers..straps..so forth and so on

they got an e-mail from me. i mean that is just f-ing stupid i can see that going wrong in sooooooooo many ways
