I started to regear my front axle today, and couldn't find the socket for the spindle nuts. Does anyone have a 2-1/8 socket I could borrow?

I got an idea. I'll post on the internet, then when nobody replies, I'll reply to myself! That would be SO cool!

It is cool, ain't it?

It means never mind, I bought another one. (for the third time)

That's done. It didn't take nearly as long as the rear since I used the old shims for a starting point. I spent a bit of time cleaning the housing since water had gotten inside and turned everything to a thick grease-like substance. The first can of brake-clean sucked, it didn't do anything. The second, third, and fourth cans did the trick.Tonight is my last night of work until I go in Thursday, so I'll have lots of time tomorrow to bolt it back in, and start on the front driveshaft. Then it'll be tow hooks front and rear, passenger seatbelt, and some other crap.
