So this 1 ton i bought for axles and tranny...has 4.56 gears already....i think i'll leave those be for awhile...only runnin 35's with a V8....should be plenty....

Yeah, can't beat the combo, Should have some sort of factory rear something or other than, rather then being open...

Yeah, unfortuneatly...they have a "gov lock" but they were junk from what i've read...then you have to buy a regular "open" carrier to install any type of detroit or cheater locker...i'm gonna open it up sometime this week and hope that its an open carrier, then weld the spiders solid...

You can weld up a gov locked 14 bolt, I wouldn't weld an open one if you want to be able to put a detroit in it. You should be able to find a detroit for a 14 bolt for under 300.

Welding wires a lot cheaper than $300...and either way, gov lock or open, i'm just gonna weld the whole thing up....solid...one big block of weld....
