I keep hearing people talk about the airport expy and bluffton road area and i see it everytime i go to work but what i want to know is, is it private property and would i get in trouble to go back there ha. I need to find other places to go other than the badlands its getting a bit to far and too much for gas plus i would like to test out my lew lift and tires before making the trip to badlands.

locally there isnt really anyplace legal to go.. That spot you mentioned is called C a r n a t i o n. It is private property, its really really nasty, and the cops will chase you out of there.

Have you tried Bundy Hill in michigan?

I have talked to a few people that wheel pewpy sphincters and never heard of the cops chasing anyone out of there. I have been back there a couple of times and will go back as soon as my shoulder heals up!!

A lot of people call that spot castration.

It has earned it's name. I would not go back there by yourself. I have a feew times but have gotten lucky and have been careful.

I would not go there during the day except for the weekends. Just keep an eye out and play dumb if a cop harrasses you.

Legal is always better but that spot has been used for years, I have never heard of anyone actually getting in trouble back there.

as ozzy said...dont go alone. you wont make to much of it now. and depending on how big the lift is thats going on it...sorry read it but dont remember, you still may not make to much. wait til someone post up that is going. there are some big holes that you will fall in and not get out of by yourself. if you do go by yourself...lmao....make sure you have a winch and several phone numbers...you will need both. :)

I'll go back there every once and awhile on a Saturday or Sunday just to tool around. Mainly when I get tired of driving the jeep on asphalt for too long. It isnt too rough however I agree it is better to be with someone else or at least have a winch. Before my winch I would just take it easy and avoid the bigger pits. I actually havent been there since the winch install. I've never had an issue with cops (nor have hairy man boobs any) but for the most part it is out of sight/out of mind. If a ton of groups started wheelin back there someone could get a bit annoyed.

I agree though that badlands is too far away and sometimes even an 1.5 hour sounds too far for a short off-roading adventure. Man I wish there were more locations around here.

Anyways..enough of that rant.
I live pretty close to the Airport expressway so PM if you want to meet up out there. Its always easy to play stupid with the cops in pairs.

I've been toying with heading out there too... My neighbor used to take his dirt bikes back there often and never once saw a Cop or had issues of the sort.

I may need to try it soon. I'll be avoiding the pits though.

I'm only 2-miles Up wind of the Airport. :tu2:

Just make sure that there are no cops reading what you are saying about this on the jeepininin board.

Not that anyone is saying that it is or isn't wrong.

He don't patrol that area anyway! I must have made a wrong turn officer. That's how I ended up back here, lost and trying to find my way out!!!!!!!
