The past couple of days have been extremely rough. I was on my way to work on Wed morning at 6:15am. I was traveling around 50mph on a main route to downtown Indy. I'm not sure if the small sports car pulled out in front of me or failed to stop in time and left his frontend in my lane. Regardless, I had zero time to react and drove my lifted Jeep Cherokee over his front bumper/hood. The impact launched my vehicle into the air, rolling to the left. I landed hard on the drivers door and continued to roll 2 times, stopping on its wheels in the center median/turn lanes. I was very fortunate to be able to climb from the vehicle and walk from the accident. I did suffer some serious injuries: a 7" laceration to the head that required 19 staples and 6 stitches, a fractured sternum, a few brocken ribs and some compression fractures in the lumbar region of my lower back. I was extremely lucky as I was not wearing a seatbelt and do not plan to make that mistake again. I was released from the hospital on Friday afternoon and am steadily feeling better. I'm in a back brace and can't drive for 4 weeks, but these are minor inconveniences compared to what could have resulted.

Thanks everybody.

Not gonna lie, it was a scary ride.

Went to work today and hopefully that is the start of things
heading back toward normal. Its amazing how much an accident
of this nature effects your daily life.

I know hoe that goes I rolled a explore on black ice in high school, almost 15 years ago and to this day it still effects me. I have issues with my neck and back from it. Like I said before if you need any help around the shop don't hesitate to ask.
