Well. . .

Against my better judgement; I bought another Jeep last night. So now I have the proverbial alphabet in my driveway, a CJ, YJ, XJ and a JK. I have a sickness. . .

Some of you may recognise the new addition, 1980 CJ, small block Chevy motor, turbo 350 trans, streched wheelbase box chassis with shackle reversal on 35's and it sports Tuff's first commercial rollcage.

Gawd I realy need a job now to get this stuff on the road. Oh ya it's the Green one on the left.

Holly has money now to buy a fuel efficient car with no roof leaks, a radio that works, heat and AC. How can she have any fun with that?

Funny thing; I never thought I would by a Jeep that I gave away. It needs some work after being driven by her for the last 3 years without too much maintainance.

I have a pair of full width axles and a set of 38"s to put under it but it will never fit in the garage ever again.

It is a sickness. And it has spread. Maybe a call to the CDC is in order. .

I had forgot how much fun the old CJ was to drive. A good tuneup willl help get some of it's gusto back.

Nice to see it back home again huh?

I'm down to two CJ's, an F250 and a Volvo....a 4 wheeler, two John Deere riders, an enclosed 6x10 trailer, a 21' deckover (for sale), a 6x10 flat, and a pickup truck trailer.

It is great having it back. Needs some work though. The wiring under the dash is shot to hell. The ball joints on the drivers side are froze up so bad it will not turn even with power steering. It is leaking every fluid in it. Front drive shaft is shot. The engine smokes worse than ever and it runs like crap. It will still flat outrun the JK  .

I have a set of full width Jeep axles(60R/44FT) to go under it with all new brakes including discs on the back and some Super Swamper 38 inch radials mounted on 8 lug versions of the wheels that are on it now. Just need to make the brackets to mount them on my frame. It was way too narrow to be fun on the trails.

I do have one small problem. With the new wheels and tires it will never fit in the garage.

I will get to work on it sometime in the moddle of October. Ken

i may have some small tires on 8 lug rims that might allow you to get it in the garage...

Thanks Mac

Kris is out of Iraq and in a staging area in Kuwait getting ready to come home sometime before the first of the year. Since Holly is moving out he will be coming to spend some time here while he has some time off. He will be replacing the entry door and possibly be moving the garage door up so I can get Jeeps taller than 7 foot in and out of the door.

Now I just need to figure out what to do with the YJ  Ken

The gravely's went to a friend who's a gravely nut and he restored one of them...it's like new, pretty neat.
