I picked up this SWEET Hypertherm 45 plasma cutter tonight, came with all the paperwork. It's 6 months old and was used twice to cut stainless...they bought a bigger unit.

Harbor freight has a dessicant air dryer for 39.99, I HIGHLY recommend it. Your tips will last much longer and it actually seemed to make mine cut smoother.

Yeah, i planned on getting something, everything i read said that air quality drastically reflects in cut quality.

So i've been trying to drill through leaf springs to build my quarter elliptical rear springs for the buggy. It wasn't going well...everything online said SLOW drill spreed and lots of pressure. I tried cutting through them with the plasma.....wow...i was done with all 16 leaves, and 4 mounting plates in about 2 hours. I used a hole saw to drill a perfect hole in a 1 x 4. then used that to cut a perfect hole in some 1/4" steel to use as a template to cut perfect holes in my springs!! it worked great!
