Figured I would finally put a picture of my truck up. I like it, that is all that matters to me. It was stock when I bought it.

I want 37s for it, still debating if I have the room now or not, some say yes some say might not. 37s are also about $320 each to start so might have to wait til January. Seems everyone needs a little extra help in December so I am helping a lot of people this year. I also have a black ladder from Gobi coming for the back, that tire and wheel are heavy to get up there lol. I keep seeing ridculous ride height lifts for this in pictures but they would have to be ungodly expensive and I would have to go with 40"+ on tires to make it look like it is not setting on 13" wheels or something. It did alright last time I had it out but I definitely still want the 37s. Might have to get someone to fab a set of steps for my wife that will come off easy, like with a ratchet so she can continue to get in. After the lift she has more trouble getting in though she makes it. That and putting my son in his seat in the middle I normally have to climb in to make it easier lol.

I think I also need a better set of auxillery lights for it, I was trying to go fairly inexpensive but the ones on it are about like a second set of headlights...

Thanks for the positive comments so far. It took me awhile to post this just because I did not want a lot of drama out of it. I thought I would get a little but it sometimes gets carried away, again thank you. I am here for the friendship and the knowledge and there is a lot of it here to be offered to anyone who needs it no matter what they drive and I am glad to be part of that and would help anyone here in a heartbeat if I could.

Looks good, for an ugly SUV! lol! I have never liked the look of the H2, but it sure appeals to a lot of people. You see them everywhere. Lots of mods on it makes it stand out from the rest. Glad to see there isn't chrome every where!! Keep up the post on the other mods you're doing. Maybe we will see you on the trail some where!! I like the brush guard on there a lot!

Yeah stomper, I am not sure but I believe I am the only one in town withOUT 20+ (on or intended) wheels, the complete eBay chrome package (the only chrome on mine is the small pieces on the mirrors and I don't think they come off or they would be in my get rid of pile), and huge stereo system installed. Mine is all yellow with black powdercoat items, 17x8s plus I already have scratches from playing in the mud and a dent in the rear bumper from the same trip (stupid tree)

The frame is off a full size heavy duty truck, no the mechanicals and 4x4 system are not like the other trucks that GM makes. Also pulled off my first on road rescue today, guy ran out of gas and thought he was going to push his 80s full size chevy a quarter mile or more up hill with his family inside and he looked like he weighed a buck twenty so I got out the snatch strap and a shackle and pulled them to the gas station. Told him payment was to help someone else in need if he ever could. And yes I have pulled someone out of the mud already :tu2:

and no thank you on the wheel and tire, I have a BFG spare on factory wheel on top and I doubt the 315/70/17s are staying long but thanks for looking out

The H2 was based off the Yukon/Tahoe platform. The front frame section is from a 2500 series, and the rear section is from a 1500 series.

chrysler did something like that.

they took the chasis off of a Sebring and an antique iron bath tub.. turned the tub umop apisdn, mated it to the frame, and made the PT cruiser.

Put in a second battery today. Talked to the guys down at the auto electric shop over near Hannah that a lot were using to get alternators. The guy asked what I wanted it for and I told him the winch and lights and wanting to get more lights and fun stuff so he told me how to run the wires and suggested I get a marine deep cycle as my second battery and run my winch wires to that because it works different than a regular battery. Also working on something to do jump starts without opening the hood, I bought half of a quick disconnect that will be the beginning of it and it fits the one already installed on the winch so I hope it works, should though with no problem. I have some other projects to but the rest are waiting til at least tomorrow, I can only stand so much cold and can only pull the H2 into the garage up the the roof rack lol, lots of light..................and wind

When I was investigating get a larger alternator for my Silverado do to snow plow, I determined that it wouldn't help, because at idle where I would need the extra power, the bigger alternator only would put out the standard power, it won't make a difference until it was building some rpm's, so I went to a dual battery setup.

I ran positive to positive, and also ran a positive over from the alternator...With the negative, I ran it down to the side of the engine block.

Thanks, wanted to double check, can never remember which one bumps it up and which one leaves it the same, too many car stereo installs running the wires in both possibilities I think

I can't believe i missed the opportunity to harass you about buying a Tahoe (as stated above) . And my wife would tell you that the drama queen is STILL here (me).

But in reality, i like your first post, if you like it, great! And it does look good for and H2.
