 Post subject: 71 jeepster camando

My cousin has this jeep, and it has a good motor, tranny and all, but needs ALL the electrical ripped out and completely rewired...is anyone here cappable of doing it...i would like to see him drive it, hell i would like to see it :lol:

scottmatt is your man for wiring but i also know he is really busy helping other people wire there rigs up as well, and he has a full time job now...LOL

is that year the cool look year for the Jeepsters, or the goofy looking year where it looks like the offspring of a scout and bronco?

he wants it believe me...he just doesnt know anyone who does wiring...someone tried to rewore it at one time and never removed the old...i guess it all needs to be ripped out and redone...looking for beer estimates or $ if is a must

It really shouldn't be too bad, no electronics or anything, just the basics. May be best off to get a cheap generic harness off of ebay.

I think Painless makes a harness for them. If not they do make great universal fit harnesses.

I like that body style. Has charactor! besides, the D44 under the rear should be flanged (one piece) and fit under a late 70s narrow CJ. :tu2:
